Hello, I attended an excellent performance last Saturday, put on by the folks from "illicit", I believe, called This is Shadowland! It was very engaging and edgy. I think the boys may have a had a couple tech issues here and there, and the race riot re-enactment scenes were probably a challenge, perhaps, intense....for some. As for me, I thought it was sublime; to see such committed folks from the hood, who stepped up to honor and educate our community about this terrible episode in our nation's history and tie it to the current crisis and who, might I add, did so artfully and with great innovation and genuine compassion (not to mention being the only show in town for this particular cause). And everyone was so cooperative! Overall, well done! Thank you "illicit". Hope to see more in the future.
