PEER RESEARCH ASSOCIATE - BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS - Epidemiology and Population Health:
STATUS: This is a part-time (minimum 15 hours per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week) position, depending on the availability of a suitable candidate or candidates. The position is for a one-year contract with the possibility of extension.
JOB START DATE: ASAP
SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
LOCATION: BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS (BC-CfE). This will be located at 611 Powell Street.
ORGANIZATION: The BC-CfE currently employs a team of statisticians, programmers, data managers, research nurses and data entry clerks who work collaboratively on cohort-based epidemiological and clinical studies. The BC-CfE is a world renown HIV/AIDS research centre including Research Laboratory, Clinical Trials, Drug Treatment Program, Epidemiology and Professional Education Programs.
JOB: As an integral member of the research team, the peer research associate assists in the implementation of research studies and related activities. They will support the ongoing relationships and connection with community organizations and members.
