Peer Navigator - AIDS Vancouver - RAAC

Please see below for information on a paid part time contract (10-15 hours per week) for a Peer Navigator to work with the Rapid Access Addictions Clinic (RAAC) for AIDS Vancouver. https://www.aidsvancouver.org/

Pay: $22 per hour.


The AIDS Vancouver Peer Navigators, provide peer counselling, direct health system navigation, health advocacy, education and linkage to relevant health, social and emotional well-being and wellness resources related to addiction treatment. The position requires someone with lived substance use experience and now in successful substitution therapy or recovery based program for a minimum of 2 years. You would be working around people active in their drug or alcohol addiction. These are important points for you to consider before applying for this position.


If you are a helpful, compassionate & empathetic person with strong emotional-self management skills, clear and engaging communication skills, intuitive listening skills and a reliable team player with a harm reduction lens/approach to your work, then this could be the job for you! :)
